Dynamic vs Static Residential Proxies

Choose rotating dynamic IPs for scale and automation, or dedicated static IPs for stable account workflows.

Dynamic Residential Proxies

  • Rotating or sticky sessions — IPs change per request or hold for 3 minutes to 24 hours.
  • Pay-as-you-go by traffic (GB) — cost scales with actual usage.
  • Best for web scraping, SEO monitoring, ad verification, and large-scale data collection.
  • 198+ countries with city-level targeting and frequent IP rotation to reduce blocks.

Static Residential Proxies (ISP)

  • Dedicated fixed IP from a real ISP — same address for long-term sessions.
  • Unlimited traffic on static plans — predictable monthly cost, no per-GB billing.
  • Best for account logins, social media, payments, and workflows that need a stable identity.
  • Maximum trust and consistency — ideal when IP changes would trigger flags or logouts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How our online proxy checker works and what the results mean.

You paste a single proxy string and select its format. Our server tests in order—HTTP proxy (HTTP / HTTPS) first, then SOCKS5 if needed—connects through the proxy to a fixed test endpoint, and stops at the first success. It measures response time and returns the HTTP status, protocol type, exit IP, and location.

We support HOST:PORT:USER:PASS, HOST:PORT@USER:PASS, USER:PASS:HOST:PORT, and USER:PASS@HOST:PORT — the same common formats used by major proxy providers.

Yes. The checker tests in order: it first connects via HTTP proxy (HTTP / HTTPS is one mode—the HTTP proxy protocol handles both http and https targets). If that fails, it tries SOCKS5 and reports the first protocol that succeeds.

Yes. Leave auth fields empty for open proxies that only require host and port.

Browsers cannot open raw TCP connections through HTTP or SOCKS5 proxies. Server-side testing is the only reliable way to verify proxy connectivity and measure speed.

No. Credentials are used only for the live test request and are not saved or logged in plain text.

200 usually means the proxy reached our test URL successfully. 407 indicates wrong credentials. 403 or 502 may mean the target blocked the proxy or the proxy returned an error. N/A means no HTTP response was received.

Yes. KindProxy’s online proxy checker is free to use with no sign-up required.
